Vermilion Flycatcher, Adams County, Colorado, Barr Lake State Park 25 March 2009
A real retina-blistering bird, probably a first in well-birded Adams County, Colorado. Great find by my neice Abby Grier and parents Jim & Karen Schmoker. Catching small moths near the ground- hope it tanked up as a foot+ of snow forecast tomorrow.
